Regarding student assistance

 Can you help me find accommodations?
 Do your students benefit from special discounts in shops, restaurants or cultural activities?
 Do you offer special help to foreign students?
 Can you help me obtain my student Visa?
 Will you help me in the process of attaining the necessary Italian documents that will allow my stay in the country?
 Should I take out a health insurance policy before coming to study at ProLingua?

  Do you offer special help for students, such as suggesting typical restaurants, theaters, sport centers, hotels for weekend trips, etc.?
 If I have personal difficulties and doubts, what should I do?

  1. Can you help me find accommodations?
    Yes. When coming from abroad, the Student Assistance staff at ProLingua will help you find accommodations with at least 4 weeks notice.

  2. Do your students benefit from special discounts in shops, restaurants or cultural activities?
    Yes. In the case of restaurants, we offer our students Restaurant Tickets for free dining at selected city restaurants and bars.

  3. Do you offer special help to foreign students?
    Yes. We have a Student Assistance staff specially designed for this purpose. Once you decide to come and study at Centro ProLingua from abroad you can direct any questions or concerns regarding travelling, accommodations and other specific requirements related to your stay in Rome to our Student Assistance department at the following e-mail address: info@prolingua.it

  4. Can you help me obtain my student Visa?
    Centro ProLingua will provide foreign students with a Proof of Intention letter, which is required by the Italian government for students coming from outside the EU in order to obtain a student Visa. However, we recommend visiting the Italian Consulate in your country of origin, which will inform you of other specific requirements. To receive the Proof of Intention letter the student is required to pay the entire sum for the desired course. However, due to government specifications, there cannot be any reimbursement in the case of cancellation after the proof of registration has been issued.

  5. Will you help me in the process of attaining the necessary Italian documents that will allow me to stay in the country?
    The Student Assistance staff at Centro ProLingua will guide you through the process of obtaining you residence permission (permesso di soggiorno). Nevertheless, the paperwork must be done personally by the student.

  6. Should I take out a health insurance policy before coming to study at ProLingua?
    Yes. It is advisable to obtain health insurance for the duration of the course. Furthermore, in some cases this is an additional requirement demanded by Italian consulates oversees to issue student Visas to students coming from certain countries.

  7. Do you offer special tourist services, such as city tours or other means of discovering the city?
    After enrollment, the Student Assistance staff at Centro ProLingua will offer you all necessary help regarding local sightseeing and tourist activities.

  8. Do you have a transfer service from the airport?
    Upon request, and for a minimum service fee, our Student Assistance staff can send a driver to the airport to pick you up and bring you to school or your accomodation.

  9. Do you offer special help for students, such as suggesting typical restaurants, theaters, sport centers, hotels for weekend trips, etc.?
    After enrollment, the Student Assistance staff at Centro ProLingua will offer you all necessary help regarding your stay in the city (local attractions, sightseeing, restaurants, etc.).

  10. If I have personal difficulties and doubts, what should I do?
    Our school Director and the Student Assistance department at Centro ProLingua are always willing to help you during your stay in the city, and eager in assisting you clear up any doubts or concerns regarding your language study program.
